Fishing in HR property is prohibited in all ponds and streams with the exception of two areas. Only HR residents who have complied with the State of Illinois fishing regulations may fish.

    • Area 1 pond: located between the first and second fairway. Fishing is allowed on the north side of this pond. This is on the gravel road side of the pond.
    • Area 2 pond: located between the ninth green and the fifth tee.

The authorized fishing space is an area 65' on either side of the pedestrian bridge bounded by the pump house on the east side and a clump of trees on the west side. The authorized fishing area also includes the pedestrian bridge.

Access to both areas must be via the gravel road which can be accessed from Leonard Drive by the cart path between the golf maintenance building and the Covered Bridge.
